he studied biology, psychology and theatre science
since 1978 - he started to work at different free-theatre companies as actor, technician and manager in Berlin
1978 - he founded the FLIEGENDES THEATER BERLIN with others
since 1985 - he autodidactically experiments with dance, especially with the German "Ausdruckstanz" (expressionism dance) of the 1920th
since 1986 - he studied the Japanese Butoh dance with Tetsuro Tamura, Anzu Furukawa, Akaji Maro and Kazuo Ohno in Tokyo
1986/87/89 - he was dancing in several Butoh dance performances in Tokyo with DANCE LOVE MACHINE (directed by Tetsuro Tamura) and with DANCE BUTTER TOKYO (directed by Anzu Furukawa)
1987/88 - foundation of tatoeba-THÉÂTRE DANSE GROTESQUE with Minako Seki in Berlin and since then its managing artistic and technical director
1988 - start of the collaboration with Yumiko Yoshioka (Mizelle Hanaoka) as member of tatoeba-TDG
1988 till 1998 - he was playing as dance performer, choreographer and/or art director as well as as light & stage artist and as producer at all tatoeba-TDG's own productions on touring Europe, Japan and North Amereica (see also production chronic):
